Hey, today I am at the beach doing one of the things I love. I want to talk to you about self-care. It's so important to take time for yourself. Whether it's 30 minutes a week or a full day a week. Whatever your schedule allows.
Make time for doing the things you love. Things that fill your soul. It's so important. And schedule it. Why? Because if we schedule it, we are more likely to do it. And secondly, scheduling it helps us look to it and helps us to get through it. It's like running a marathon and the end is so far away. Yet, if we know there's a water break coming around the corner, we can really push ourselves to get to that point and we look forward to it.
So whatever it is that fills your soul, find time this week to schedule it. We can't pour out of an empty vessel. We'll be better at everything we do if take time for ourselves.
Then Jesus said, Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
